This is one of the most thrilling books one can ever read. The adrenaline rush one feels while reading this story is immeasurable.

Tracy Whitney was the definition of a perfect life until she wasn’t. She had the ideal job, was about to get married to the love of her life and, according to her, she was living her fairy tale. Her world changed with the unexpected suicide committed by her mother. She was framed for a crime she didn’t commit and was put behind bars. Her fight for survival and her determination to seek revenge is something to look out for other than her unmatchable intelligence. The book gives a vast description of life in prison, which, on reading, will surely send chills down the reader’s back. After reading certain sections of the story taking place in prison, I honestly had a nightmare — so vivid were the descriptions. Sidney Sheldon’s words are a key to imagination. The book left me in awe as I couldn’t get over how well the crimes were executed. While reading, one cannot help but wonder how the story starts and how it progresses. Every page has a thrill to it and not one paragraph is boring. The book sheds light on how humans can go to any extent to save themselves in times of crisis. In this book, there is no single crime or one killer who needs to be revealed by the end. Instead, the story consists of multiple fraudulent crimes and numerous challenges faced by the doers. No doubt this is one of the best works by Sidney.

This book is recommended for all thriller lovers and those who enjoy a ride on a Ferris wheel. If you read this book, despite sitting still, you will experience the best ride ever, and although your screams may be silent, they’ll be the loudest inside you!
